4x4 - Ford Ranger

Ford Ranger tuning, dyno-proven.

PX, PX2, PX3 and Next Gen. Daily, tow and touring calibrations written on our dyno. Including the 10R80 TCU.

The Ranger is the most common ute on our dyno. Each generation behaves differently. The 3.2 wants intercooler help before it wants boost. The 2.0 bi-turbo wants a sensible calibration that does not cook the small turbo. The Next Gen V6 wants careful fuelling and a smart TCU.

We tune for how you actually use the truck. A daily Ranger and a Ranger that lives behind a van or a tinny are not the same tune.

Every Ranger is logged before any change, calibrated on the dyno, then road tested before it goes home.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which Rangers do you tune?
PX, PX2 and PX3 3.2 and 2.0 bi-turbo, and the Next Gen Ranger 2.0 bi-turbo and 3.0 V6. Raptor (2.0 and 3.0) included.
Is the 10 speed auto handled?
Yes. The 10R80 in the bi-turbo and V6 Rangers benefits a lot from a tuned TCU. Shift quality, hunt behaviour and torque holding are all addressed.
Will it affect DPF regens?
No. We do not delete DPFs. We calibrate so the regen cycle still completes properly under your driving pattern.
Is the V6 Ranger safe to tune?
Yes, with a sensible Stage 1 calibration. We are conservative on Next Gen V6 fuelling until we see how each individual truck behaves on the dyno.
Do you do hardware too?
Intercoolers, exhausts and intakes are available where they make sense. The 3.2 in particular benefits from a better intercooler before chasing more boost.
