4x4 - Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi Triton and Pajero Sport tuning.

4D56 and 4N15 calibration written for daily, tow and touring use, validated on our dyno in Parafield Gardens.

The Triton is a light, efficient ute with a small capacity diesel. That makes the calibration matter more, not less. Asking a 2.4 for a big headline number is the wrong approach, and it shows up as heat.

We tune the 4N15 for low and mid range torque so the truck holds a gear instead of hunting, then hold EGT to a target you can live with fully loaded in summer.

Pajero Sport owners generally want the same thing for touring, with a calmer auto and better response off idle.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which Triton generations do you tune?
MN and ML 4D56, MQ and MR 4N15, and the Pajero Sport 4N15. Both manual and automatic.
Does the auto get calibrated too?
Yes on the platforms that allow it. The Triton auto benefits from better shift points and torque holding, especially loaded.
How much can the 4N15 safely take?
It is a 2.4 litre engine, so we are deliberate. A sensible Stage 1 lifts mid-range torque noticeably without asking the turbo or the EGTs for trouble.
Do you keep the DPF?
Yes. We calibrate around it so the regen cycle keeps working on your driving pattern.
Is it worth it for towing?
That is the most common reason Tritons come to us. The gain that matters is torque under load in the gear you actually tow in.
