Nissan Navara and Patrol tuning.
YD25, YS23 and VK56 calibration written for daily, tow and touring use, validated on our dyno in Parafield Gardens.
The NP300 Navara is a light truck with a small, hard working engine. It rewards a careful calibration far more than it rewards boost. We tune for rolling torque and clean response so the engine is not asked to work at the top of its range all day.
The D40 YD25 is a different animal again, and the older Patrol platforms are tuned around fuel system and EGT limits rather than headline power.
On the Y62 V8 the gains are in drivability and throttle response on 98 RON, which is what owners actually notice on a long tow.

Common questions.
- Which Nissan platforms do you tune?
- Navara D40 YD25, Navara NP300 YS23, Patrol Y61 ZD30 and Patrol Y62 VK56 petrol V8. Both manual and automatic.
- Does the NP300 auto get tuned as well?
- Yes where the platform allows it. Shift points and torque holding are a big part of why a tuned NP300 feels different with a trailer behind it.
- Is the Y62 V8 worth tuning?
- It responds well to a proper calibration on 98 RON, mostly in throttle response and part-throttle drivability rather than a headline peak number.
- Do you delete DPF or EGR?
- No. We calibrate around the factory emissions hardware and keep the regen cycle working under your usage pattern.
- How long does the work take?
- Allow a half day at the workshop including logging and a road test. Bookings are by appointment only.
