JDM - Calibration
JDM ECU tuning in Adelaide.
Custom Cobb and EcuTek calibration for the JDM platforms we know best, from daily driven WRX to track cars.
A modern turbo JDM car is a calibration exercise before it is a hardware exercise. Boost control, fuelling, knock strategy and torque management are where the honest gains sit, and a file written for your car on your fuel will always beat a generic map.
We calibrate on Cobb and EcuTek depending on the platform. Subaru WRX and STI, Mitsubishi Evo, Toyota Supra and Nissan's Z cars all come through the workshop, from completely stock cars after a Stage 1 through to built engines on E85.
Where hardware is part of the brief, we supply and fit it here. Intakes, downpipes, exhausts, intercoolers and fuel system upgrades are installed and checked before calibration, so there is one point of accountability for the whole job.
As with everything here, the claims stay conservative. Every car is logged and road tested, and a before and after dyno run is available as an optional add-on if you want the graph to go with the drive.

FAQ
Common questions.
- Which JDM platforms do you cover?
- Subaru WRX and STI, Mitsubishi Evo, Toyota Supra, Nissan Z cars and most turbo JDM platforms that support Cobb or EcuTek. If your car is not on that list, ask, the answer is often still yes.
- Cobb or EcuTek, which one suits my car?
- Whichever fits the platform and the brief. R35 GT-R and most late-model Subarus are Cobb territory, while other platforms suit EcuTek. We will tell you which and why before anything is booked.
- Is a dyno run included?
- No. Every car is logged and road tested as standard. A before and after dyno run on our in-house dyno is an optional add-on at $250.
- Do you supply and fit the bolt-on hardware?
- Yes. Intakes, downpipes, exhausts, intercoolers and fuel system parts are supplied and fitted here, so the hardware and the calibration are one job with one point of accountability.
- What fuel do you calibrate for?
- 98 RON as standard. Where the platform and fuel system support it, we also write flex fuel and E85 calibrations.
