LS - Boosted

LS turbo and supercharger tuning.

Boost control, fuel system upgrades and safe timing under load. Forced induction LS packages developed on our in-house dyno.

Forced induction is where a calibration stops being a nice to have. Timing under boost, fuelling at load and charge temperature control decide whether an engine makes its number once or makes it every weekend.

We scope the package first: target power, fuel, supporting hardware and how the car is used. Then the file is built up in stages on the dyno with logging on every run rather than one hero pull at the end.

Harrop supercharger kits and quality turbo hardware are both fitted here, and the calibration is done in the same workshop by the people who fitted it.

FAQ

Common questions.

Turbo or supercharger on an LS?
A blower gives instant response and simple packaging. A turbo makes more for the money at higher targets but asks more of the install. We will talk through both against your budget and how you drive the car.
What supporting hardware is needed?
Fuel system, cooling and often the valvetrain. Boost is easy, keeping fuelling and charge temperature under control is the part that decides whether the engine lasts.
Do you calibrate boost control?
Yes. Boost targets, wastegate duty and torque management are all part of the calibration, so the car makes its boost predictably rather than spiking.
Is dyno time required on a boosted car?
We strongly recommend it. Dyno runs are an optional add-on at $250, but on a forced induction combination it is the sensible way to prove the file under repeatable load.
